Today looking at Knitting going home with DD

SPARKDOVESEYES DAYS THRU THE KNITTING GLASS

Hello,

I am showing you today the knitted items that will go home with DD for Miss A.

These have been knitted over the five years since she was born :)

This is a topsy turvy doll Cinderella at the ball and at home :)

Oops missed this one :)

They all took months to knit and put together ... a labour of love ...

Just wanted to show you before they were whisked away :)

Thanks for supporting my blogs

Hugs

Christine

  1. Love them! I'm knitting right now as well. A very simple project Walt requested a pair of slippers.

  3. Over the five years I have sent a lot of toys and clothes to DD, now we have decided to buy online and send to them that way. Mostly because of the postage costs. So I am making some things for me now :)

    1. The best part of knitting for oneself is that the recipient knows exactly how much went into making it! 😉

Also, if you decide the sleeves need to be longer, or the hat tighter, or a repair is warranted, your own personal Apparel Technician is available, and usually has some matching yarn sitting around... 😂
